Alexa Bakhash
About
Alexa joined Berkman Bottger Newman and Schein LLP in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, Alexa was an associate at another prestigious New York matrimonial law firm and has also practiced in the area of real estate law, granting her valuable experience in divorces that include real property. Alexa’s practice focuses on all aspects of matrimonial and family law matters, including negotiation, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.
Alexa received a B.A. in psychology from Syracuse University, where she also minored in Child and Family Studies. At Cardozo School of Law, Alexa was a Staff Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Law & Gender, as well as an Articles Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice. She is passionate about helping children and families, and her academic background provides her with unique insight into family dynamics and child welfare.
