Allyson Weinberg
About
Allyson Weinberg joined Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein as an associate in 2020. Ms. Weinberg received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. Prior to joining BBNS, Ms. Weinberg served as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Theresa E. Mullen in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division, where she worked primarily on divorce proceedings and child custody matters. Her experience working directly in the divorce and family court system has provided her with valuable insights into the judicial system, and how to best advocate for her own clients in the courtroom.
Ms. Weinberg has also interned with a boutique matrimonial law firm and served as a summer associate with a real estate law firm in New York City. During law school, Ms. Weinberg served as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant, was a Staff Editor for the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal, externed with the Bronx Defenders in their Family Defense practice, and volunteered with the Courtroom Advocates Project, where she represented victims of domestic violence.
