About
Nicole Aboodi is an associate with the firm, practicing primarily in our Manhattan office. Ms. Aboodi received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she pursued Family Law as her primary focus. At Fordham, she served as a Pro Bono Scholar on the Matrimonial and Economic Justice Project at Sanctuary for Families, where she worked on divorce proceedings, including custody matters and child support litigation.
During law school, Ms. Aboodi was deeply involved in the study and practice of Family Law. She interned at New York Legal Assistance Group on the Mediation Project, which gave her valuable insight into alternative dispute resolution in matrimonial cases. Additionally, she worked at Family Legal Care, as well as at a boutique matrimonial firm, which reinforced her strong understanding of the complex issues involved in divorce and custody matters. Ms. Aboodi also served as an Associate Editor for Fordham’s Urban Law Journal, and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Gerald Lebovits in the New York Supreme Court. Ms. Aboodi received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award for her commitment to pro bono legal work. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.
