Ariella Deutsch
About
Ariella Deutsch practices all areas of matrimonial and family law matters, including custody disputes, financial litigation, post-judgment proceedings, and the negotiation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Ariella joined Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein, LLP in 2020. Prior to joining BBNS, she practiced at another prominent New York City matrimonial law firm. Her entire legal career has been devoted to the practice of family law.
In addition to being a tenacious advocate, Ariella is a thoughtful and collaborative advisor to her clients. Accustomed to representing clients in high conflict situations, she emphasizes aligning legal strategy with big-picture interests that often include minimizing the emotional and financial toll of divorce. She prides herself on educating her clients so that they can articulate their ultimate goals, and accomplish them in the most straightforward way possible.
Ariella’s background in mediation and collaborative law informs her approach to her litigated and negotiated matters. While attending law school at Fordham University School of Law, she interned in Queens Legal Services’ Family and Divorce Mediation Project and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York’s Mediation Unit and participated in Fordham’s Mediation Clinic. Since her admission to the bar, Ariella has also been trained in collaborative law by the New York Association of Collaborative Law Professionals.
